KS2 Teacher

Location: Delaware Primary Academy

Closing Date: 07/07/2019

Bridgeschools are delighted to offer the opportunity to become an upper KS2 Teacher at Delaware Primary Academy, starting September 2019.

The successful candidate will be a highly organised, dedicated, enthusiastic practitioner who is passionate about helping all children to reach their full potential. They will have an excellent subject knowledge, be able to utilise ICT to enhance learning and will be a fully committed member of a strong, happy teaching team.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Location: Gunnislake Primary Academy

Closing Date: 02/07/2019

Required for one term only, commencing in the Autumn term 2019.

Gunnislake Primary Academy require a Higher Level Teaching Assistant with experience of EYFS and KS1.

The successful candidate will be required to teach phonics so must have an excellent knowledge of letters and sounds. They will also be required to teach small groups in a mixed EYFS1, EYFS2/YrR, Y1 and Y2 class. The successful candidate will have had experience of oberserving and assessing EYFS children.

There is also an expectation that the successful candidate will lead an after school sports club for an hour, three times per week. This will be worked and paid for in addition to the 35.25 hours each week.

KS2 Teacher

Location: Brunel Primary and Nursery Academy

This is a 0.5 FTE position, fixed term until 31/08/2020.

Community Governor

Location: Blisland Primary Academy

Blisland Primary Academy is seeking Community Governors to add to the Governing Body to help drive the strategic development and ethos in the school. A community governor can be anybody who lives or works in or around the areas in which the school is located. We are looking for people with a wide range of experience, and candidates do not need to be experts in education. We seek individuals who have drive and energy and are willing to use their skills to support the school and contribute to the educational outcomes of our pupils. Your knowledge of the local community is vital. A key skill for all governors is to be able to question and challenge and work as part of the team of governors and school leaders to identify viable solutions to problems and opportunities.
As part of Bridge Schools Trust support to new governors is provided through an established induction process with ongoing opportunities to develop skills through training and shared best practice.
Local Governing Bodies meet up to 6 times a year and the role involves looking at the data and information provided in the form of a Head of School report and other documentation before the meetings, thus each meeting requires preparation. You will also be expected to visit the school at least once each half-term so you can understand how the policies work in practice and how the data plays out in the classroom. This provides you with knowledge about your school so you can represent this to the stakeholders including Parents/Carers, the Staff and the community.
