Bridge Schools Trust consists of 14 primary schools located within Cornwall, Wadebridge Primary being one of the larger schools within the trust set on the edge of Wadbridge town in a spectacular countryside location.
An opportunity has arisen for an inspirational Headteacher to strengthen our strategic and operational leadership team. The successful candidate will be an outstanding primary practitioner and a passionate leader of learning with a desire to ensure every child is equipped with the skills for tomorrow's world. You will lead with confidence and purpose, be motivational, approachable, strategically creative and deep-thinking with the interpersonal skills needed to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, parents, governors and the wider community.

Teaching Assistant

Location: Polperro Primary Academy

Closing Date: 29/04/2019

Bridgeschools are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is a forward thinking, positive and innovative individual to be based at Polperro Primary Academy.

The successful candidate will be able to work using their own initiative as well as being part of a team and ideally have early years experience. You will need to be flexible, friendly and committed to driving children's learning forward across key stages.

This position is on a permanent variable contract at 17.1 hours per week, term time only.

CLOSING DATE : Midnight on 29th April 2019

Community Governor

Location: Blisland Primary Academy

Blisland Primary Academy is seeking Community Governors to add to the Governing Body to help drive the strategic development and ethos in the school. A community governor can be anybody who lives or works in or around the areas in which the school is located. We are looking for people with a wide range of experience, and candidates do not need to be experts in education. We seek individuals who have drive and energy and are willing to use their skills to support the school and contribute to the educational outcomes of our pupils. Your knowledge of the local community is vital. A key skill for all governors is to be able to question and challenge and work as part of the team of governors and school leaders to identify viable solutions to problems and opportunities.
As part of Bridge Schools Trust support to new governors is provided through an established induction process with ongoing opportunities to develop skills through training and shared best practice.
Local Governing Bodies meet up to 6 times a year and the role involves looking at the data and information provided in the form of a Head of School report and other documentation before the meetings, thus each meeting requires preparation. You will also be expected to visit the school at least once each half-term so you can understand how the policies work in practice and how the data plays out in the classroom. This provides you with knowledge about your school so you can represent this to the stakeholders including Parents/Carers, the Staff and the community.
