Head of School

Location: Pelynt Primary Academy

We are looking to appoint an inspirational Head of School to work at Pelynt Primary Academy who will lead with confidence and purpose. As an outstanding primary practitioner and passionate leader of learning you will have a desire to ensure every child is equipped with the skills for tomorrow’s world. You will be motivational, approachable, strategically creative and deep-thinking with the interpersonal skills needed to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, parents, governors and the wider community.

You will exercise your strategic thinking to ensure the school continues to move forward and will work closely with other senior leaders within the Trust to develop the school in key areas, using teacher input to maximise outcomes for children.

Pelynt Primary is one of our medium sized primary schools within the trust, with around 100 pupils on roll. The children enjoy a spectacular setting surrounded by rolling farmland on the edge of Pelynt village and we look to involve the amazing outdoors in their learning as part of our creative curriculum.

Bridge Schools Trust currently consists of 14 primary schools located within Cornwall and we continue to work closely with other primary schools across the county and into Devon. As the Trust evolves, we are looking to strengthen strategic and operational leadership capacity across our academies.

Breakfast Club Assistant

Location: Darite Primary Academy

Closing Date: 25/02/2024

We are looking for a confident and creative individual to run our breakfast club at Darite Primary, providing high quality childcare and a settled start before school.

Experience of working within a child setting is essential.

Food hygiene and allergens qualification desirable or willing to undertake this qualification.

Paediatric first aid qualification desirable or willing to undertake this qualification and any further training essential.

Darite is a small school on the moors above Liskeard. We pride ourselves on having a supportive and family atmosphere where all children are valued and learn. At our last OFSTED we achieved a “Good” grading. Darite is part of Bridge Schools Multi-Academy trust, a collective of 14 primary schools across Corwall who collaborate and work to support each other.

If you have the ability to work on your own initiative, but also work as part of a wider team we would love to hear from you.

Hours: 5 hours (7:30am – 8:30am daily Mon-Fri)
Working weeks 38 weeks (school term time)
Paid weeks 43.128
